ORDER

This Petition has been filed seeking to quash the award dated 03.09.2014 passed by the 1st respondent in I.D.No.53 of 2008.

2. Seeking to reinstate the petitioner with full back wages, continuity of service and all other attendant benefits, he raised an industrial dispute u/s.2A(2) of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 before the Labour Cout and the Labour Court vide order dated 03.10.2014, has directed the management to pay lumpsum compensation of Rs.3,34,200/- to the petitioner / workman. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner / workman.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition the matter was amicably settled between the parties and second respondent is ready to pay a sum of Rs.1,25,000/- in full quit as compensation to the petitioner, since the entire award amount has already been paid to the employee. 4. In view of the fair submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent management to pay a sum of Rs.1,25,000/- as full quit to the petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction and observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
