ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to transfer the case in Crime No.400 of 2015 to the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Alandur. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent Police registered an F.I.R in Crime No.400 0 2015. According to the petitioner, the investigation has been completed and a final report has also been filed on 27.02.2020, before the Special Court for Land Grabbing cases-II, Chennai. Since the said Court is not functioning, the final report has not been acted upon. Hence, left with no other option, the present petition has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

filed before this Court.

3.Heard Mr.M.Sukumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.C.Raghavan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the earlier orders passed by this Court while dealing with cases of similar nature, there shall be a direction to the respondent Police to file a memo before the Special Court for Land Grabbing cases-II, Chennai and get the final report returned and the same shall be presented before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Alandur. This process shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.On the presentation of the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Alandur, the concerned Court shall act upon the same within a period of four weeks thereafter. 6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
