JUDGMENT

Challenging the judgment and orders dated 15.06.2017 passed in S.C.No.334/2016 by the learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila court, Villupuram, the defacto complainant has filed the present appeal.

2. The second respondent / accused filed Crl.A.No.335 of 2017 before this Court challenging the very same judgment in S.C.No.334/2016. A learned Single Judge of this Court vide his judgment dated 06.12.2023 acquitted the accused of the offence punishable under Section 417 IPC and he was set at liberty.

3. Now the present appeal is filed by the defacto complainant. This appeal was not posted along with Crl.A.No.335 of 2017. Since the learned Single Judge of this Court had already acquitted the accused / appellant in Crl.A.No.335 of 2017, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present appeal.
