Contempt petition filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the orders dated 11.12.2015 passed by this Court in WP.No.37722/2015 and 09.09.2016 in Cont.P.NO.2202/2016 for non compliance and for the acts done in contravention of the above said orders in the writ petition and contempt petition.

ORDER

The petitioner, alleging non-compliance of the order passed in the writ petition in WP.No.37722/2015 dated 11.12.2015 as well as in the contempt petition in Cont.P.No.2202/2016 dated 09.09.2016, came forward to file the present contempt petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Pothiraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents/contemnors.

In view of the Government Order passed by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.359, Revenue and Disaster

Management [LR.II[2]] Department, dated 24.11.2017, the contempt petition is closed, giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said Government Order.
