Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue an appropriate order, directions or writ including a Writ of Mandamus or a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to revise the wages of the petitioner with effect 01.09.2019 based on the 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022 and pay him the difference in Leave Salary, Gratuity and arrears of pension from 01.06.2022 to 28.02.2023 along with the interest at the rate of 12% per 1/4

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents to revise the wages of the petitioner with effect from 01.09.2019 on the basis of the 14th wage settlement entered into under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, which was dated 24.08.2022.
2. The petitioner claims that the difference in leave salary, gratuity and arrears of pension between 01.06.2022 to 28.02.2023 should be paid to him. The petitioner also seeks appropriate interest to be paid.
3. Heard the counsel for the respondents.
4. If the petitioner is eligible for revision of pay in accordance with the 14th Wage settlement and if that settlement is applicable to the petitioner, a direction is given to the respondents to disburse the said arrears and revision of pay within a period of three months from the date 2/4
of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also entitled to interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of disbursement.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
