Heard Mr.D.Baskar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Velusamy, learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent.

2.There is no appearance on behalf of the second respondent. 3.The prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the first respondent to implement the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Cuddalore in his Na.Ka.A7/2392/2021 dated 03.09.2022. 4.The grievance of the petitioner is that the first respondent has not subdivided the lands in S.No.387/1A1 and has not granted separate patta in his name.

5.Today, when the matter was called, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent produced a copy of the proceedings dated 03.09.2022, issued by the first respondent herein in Na.Ka.A7/2392/2021, wherein the patta that stood in the name 2/4

of one Senthil, second respondent herein has been cancelled and recommendations have been made for conducting survey for the purpose of granting patta to the petitioner. Thus, the grievance of the petitioner seems to have been addressed and hence, no effective orders can be passed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed.
