O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 24.12.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for removal of the names of the respondents 5 and 6 from the revenue records and to restore the patta in the name of the father of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.R.Bharath Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for official respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and considering the fact that an appeal is pending before the first respondent, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 24.12.2024 after affording opportunity to the respondents 4 to 6 and shall pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
