The learned counsel for the writ petitioner made a submission that the gratuity amount due to the employee has already been settled.

In view of the Settlement, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition and accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
