The petitioner has filed this writ petition to call for the records of the proceedings of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.6304/2012/C1(Ma) dated 25.06.2012 and the proceedings of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.--- /2012/C1/Ma, dated 15.05.2012 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to continue in the service till the age of 60 years i.e., on 31.07.2014.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already been retired from service. Hence, the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
