ORDER

Alleging that the order dated 25.01.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.2111 of 2016 has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader produced a communication sent by the respondent to the Director, Directorate of Adi Dravidar Welfare, Chepauk, Chennai - 5 as per the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ proceedings in Na.Ka.No.4134-2016(D6) dated 25.02.2017.

Even at the time of passing the order, the contemnor was not a party. Now, he has sent his recommendation to the competent authority.

3.In such view of the matter, this Court does not find any wilful disobedience of the order passed. However, a direction is issued to the Director, Directorate of Adi Dravidar Welfare, Chepauk, Chennai - 5, to pass appropriate orders on the communication sent by the contemnor in Na.Ka.No.4134-2016(D6) dated 25.02.2017 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observation and direction, the contempt petition stands closed.
