O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to implement the statutory orders issued under Section 153 of Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Act in proceeding Na.Ka.7832/2011 A3 dated 30.04.2012.

On perusal of the counter filed by the first respondent revealed that the petitioner was in the habit of remaining absent from duty. The first respondent passed order on 30.04.2012 with a direction to the second respondent Society to promote the petitioner on merits as Cashier. From the month of June 2009 to February 2012, there were 584 working days including holidays, of which the petitioner was absent for 418 days during that period. Therefore, it is unable to consider the name of the petitioner for promotion. That apart, the petitioner was on medical leave from 01.09.2012 to 31.10.2012. Only thereafter, the second 2/4

respondent had given promotion to the petitioner as Cashier by order dated 19.12.2012. Accordingly, the order passed under Section 153 of Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Act has been duly complied with. 3.

Recording the above, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
