Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd and 4th respondent authorities to remove the encroachment made by the private respondents herein in the light of the Revenue Standing Order 26(15) after conducting proper enquiry on the representation dated 22.11.2023 made by the petitioner.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.A.Rajakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.c.Kathiravan, learned Special Government

Pleader for the fourth respondent.

2. The petitioner seeks direction against respondents 3 and 4 to remove the encroachment made in cart track.

3. The petitioner may file an application before the Committee constituted under G.O.Ms.No.64, Revenue Department dated 08.02.2022. If the petitioner files such an application before the Committee, the Committee shall consider it on its own merits and in accordance with law expeditiously.

4. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
