This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to seeking for a direction to the respondent police to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 10.04.2018. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

It is seen that the petitioner has filed a petition under section 156(3) of Cr.P.C to register the complaint before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Court No.V, Egmore, Chennai on 04.01.2019 and the same is still pending. Therefore, this Court is inclined to direct the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Court No.V, Egmore, Chennai, to consider the complaint and pass appropriate orders, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
