Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue legal heirship certificate, for which, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on 15.11.2019.

Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents to issue legal heirship certificate, based on her representation dated 15.11.2019.

3. According to the petitioner, her father died on 02.10.2010 and her mother predeceased her father on 01.05.1995, leaving herself and her two brothers as legal heirs. It is stated that on 15.11.2019, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents, requesting them to issue legal heirship certificate for her deceased father. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.
