O R D E R

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that though the petitioner has come up with this petition seeking to register an FIR based on his complaint, in compliance with the order dated 16.07.2025 passed by the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore in Crl.M.P.No.6989 of 2025, the respondent-police have already conducted a detailed enquiry into the petitioner's complaint and as no material evidence was found to disclose the commission of a cognizable offence, the said complaint has been closed and the final report is also made ready and that the 2nd respondent-police will file the same before the jurisdictional court within a period of one (1) week.

2. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this criminal original petition stands closed. The 2nd respondent-police shall file a final report/closure report, as the case may be, within a period of one (1) week from today. 25.02.2026 skt NCC : Yes/No
