Mr.P.Rajendran, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner passed away.

2. Mr.T.M.Rajangam, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would re-iterate the same and copy of the death extract of the petitioner is circulated to that effect.

3. Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed as abated. There is no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition, if any stands closed.
