This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to give police protection to the petitioner, based on his representation dated 26.04.2016.
2. It appears that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, inasmuch as the contention of the petitioner that the third respondent is in occupation of the common area layout, however, the third respondent has denied the allegations.

3. Taking into the consideration the nature of the dispute between the parties, police protection as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
