O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We note with regret that the contempt petition has been filed with a false averment giving an impression as if no decision has been taken on the representation of the petitioner, despite that direction being passed by this Court, it being the only direction.

2.Learned Government Pleader has produced before us https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ records to show that in pursuance to the order of this Court, meetings have been held and even action has been

taken.

3.The petitioner has not made out a case that the action has been inadequate, in which case a fresh writ petition would be the only cause of action, but has sought to convey an incorrect picture as if the representation has not been acted upon.

4.We strongly condemn this conduct and dismiss the contempt petition with costs. The costs is quantified at Rs.2,000/- (Rupees two thousand only) to be deposited with the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Madras High Court Campus, within two (2) weeks.
