Respondents Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, to punish the respondents for having committed contempt of Court of the order dated 21.04.2016 made in W.P.No.14744 of 2016.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Contempt Petition alleging non-compliance of the order dated 21.04.2016 made in WP.No.14744 of 2016.

Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, by placing on record the proceedings of the third respondent bearing RC.No.7455/2003/A dated 20.03.2017, submitted that the proposal sent by the third respondent is under consideration by the first respondent and the order passed by this Court on 21.04.2016 in W.P.No.14744 of 2016 has been complied with substantially.

3.However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that even though the proposal is sent to the first respondent, the petitioner has not received the retirement benefits. In any event, the first respondent herein has to pass orders on the proposal sent by the third respondent.

4. Under such circumstances, the first respondent is hereby directed to pass appropriate orders on the proposal of the third respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Contempt Petition is disposed of.
