Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring the action of the respondents in holding negotiations or recognizing anybody else other than the office bearers of the Petitioner Union elected on 15.02.2010 in the Regional Council Office Bearers Election held on 15.02.2010 at the NACIL Recreation Hall, Airlines House, Meenambakkam, Chennai-600 027 as illegal, null and void 1/3

and direct the respondents to restore the check off system for collecting the Union subscription in view of re-recognition of the petitioner union as recorded in the order dated 16.08.2011 in LPA No.163 of 2011 and further by removing the seal placed in the petitioner's union office and by permitting the petitioner union to use the Union Office as before sealing the premises. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
