Seeking leave to sue respondents 1 to 3, 5 to 14 16 to 30, 33, 35 and 36, the applicant/plaintiff has come up with this application. 2.The applicant is the plaintiff in the suit filed for permanent injunction on the ground of infringement of copyright and for other reliefs.

3.Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the registered copyright holder of the film "Parched". He further submits that the film was released on internet including Chennai, within the territorial jurisdiction of this Court and the movie would be promoted in theatres. Since some of the respondents are residing outside the territorial jurisdiction of this Court, the present application has been filed.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant and the averments made in the plaint, leave is granted. 29.08.2016 mmi Note: Registry is directed to number the suit and list the same on 30.08.2016.
