ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to punish the respondent herein, for willful disobedience of the orders of this Court passed in W.P.No.19040 of 2019 dated 17.09.2019. 2.When the matter was taken up today, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents/contemnors, submitted that on an earlier occasion this Court directed the respondents to consider the petitioners representation to refix his seniority on par with the 1st batch based on the marks secured by the him; pursuant to the order of this Court, seniority was fixed; he was placed in the rank of 128 in the seniority list and officially sent for police training; therefore the order of this Court has been complied with; hence nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly he prays for closure of the present contempt petition. 2/3

3. The above said submission is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Accordingly, recording the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this contempt petition is closed.
