The petitioner seeks police protection on the basis of the complaint dated 05.04.2019 on the ground that he is a contestant for the Lok Sabha election from Sivagangai.

2. Now that the election itself is over, the need for police protection ceases. Hence, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. If the petitioner applies for Police Protection in future that is at the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
