O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2024 and to settle the pending terminal benefits for petitioners' entire period of service within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. The petitioner was initially employed as Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Jeppiaar Engineering College from 01.06.2005. He was subsequently promoted as Associate Professor on 01.06.2009. Thereafter, he was further promoted as Professor in the Department of Information Technology and continued to work in the said capacity till 30.09.2019. Thereafter, the petitioner was transferred to another institution under the Jeppiaar group namely M/s.Jeppiaar SRR Engineering College, where he served as Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering Department from 01.10.2019 to 31.08.2021. During the said period, his gross salary was to the tune of Rs. Rs.1,00,627/-, however, he was paid only 2/6
partial salary during the said period. In order to claim the pending salary, gratuity and other attendant benefits due to him, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 20.01.2024 to the 4th respondent requesting for the same. However, the said representation has not been considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2024 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. In view of the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties. 3/6
6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
