The petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner, her husband and her husband's family from the 4th respondent and his men on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2020. 2.It seems that the petitioner married one Ranjith, but the said Ranjith belonged to a different caste, and hence, the 4th https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent, who is the father of the petitioner herein, out of caste discrimination, is in search of the petitioner and her husband for attacking them.

Therefore, the petitioner apprehended life threat at the hands of the 4th respondent and lodged a complaint before the 3rd respondent dated 27.02.2020. 3.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and after issuance of notice to the 4th respondent, provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband. 4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
