O R D E R

(Made by Huluvadi G.Ramesh,J) This contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 18.8.2015 made in W.P.No.15033 of 2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for both the parties.

3. Pursuant to the order dated 06.4.2017, the Assistant General Manager of the respondent Bank appeared before this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Court. The respondent Bank, as directed, has filed a

calculation memo. From a perusal of the same, it appears that the respondent Bank, after the payment of 50% of the loan amount with interest by the Insurance company on account of the death of the husband of the petitioner who has raised the loan, has calculated the amount payable by the petitioner on a higher rate by compounding the interest on quarterly rest. Therefore, in the interest of both the parties, we direct the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.3.00 Lakhs (Rupees three lakhs only) once for all, towards the full and final settlement of the amount due to the respondent Bank within two months from today. The contempt petition is closed accordingly.
