J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) Challenge in this Writ Appeal is to the order of the Writ Court directing the respondent to be made the Head of the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering. It is now learnt that the Commissioner of Technical Education has permitted the respondent to be appointed as the Principal of the Polytechnic College itself.

2. As the appointment of the respondent as the Principal of the Polytechnic College is approved, nothing survives in the Writ Appeal. The Writ Appeal is disposed of as having become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
