ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aa) and 4(1-A) of TN Prohibition Act in Crime No.143 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein has abandoned his Auto along with 70 liters of ID arrack when the respondent Police were conducting routine check up. After abandoning the contraband along with the Auto, has come before this Court seeking anticipatory bail. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. This Court, taking into consideration the fact that the vehicle belong to the petitioner herein, he has knowingly transported ID Arrack in his Auto and on seeing the riding party had abandoned both the vehicle and the contraband, fled from the place, even if anticipatory bail is granted, he will not be available for investigation and trial, the anticipatory bail petition is dismissed. -sd/- 21/03/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
