This petition has been filed to make the amendment in the prayer with effect to challenge the Government Order, i.e. G.O.(D) No.29, Highways and Minor Ports (HV2) Department, dated 01.02.2021.

2. During the pendency of the writ petition, since this Government Order was issued, under which the fees structure has been modified, payable to the Counsels who appeared for arbitration matters, especially the petitioner who appeared in the arbitration matter pertaining to this writ petition, it became necessitated to challenge this Government Order also.

3. Heard Mr.V.Ayydaurai, the petitioner, party-in-person and Mr.J.Ravindran, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 5.
