Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to commit and punish the respondent for their wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order dated 05.01.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.No.2276 of 2010.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 05.01.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.No.2276 of 2010, thereby directing the respondent to make the contribution that is payable towards provident fund in respect of the deceased petitioner/workman.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties before the Mediation and they entered into an agreement dated 26.07.2023.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that though they entered into settlement, so far the petitioners did not receive any amount as per the settlement since no time limit was fixed in the agreement dated 26.07.2023.

In view of the settlement between the parties, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, the respondent shall comply the terms as agreed by both the parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
