Prayer in W.P.No.5758 of 2024:
Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Declaration declaring G.O.Ms.No.133, Human Resource Management (M) Department, dated 01.12.2021 and the consequential notification No.1/2024, dated 30.01.2024 issued by the second respondent is discriminatory and violative of articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and opposed to Section 21A of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 and opposed to the two language policy of the State Government in so far as the said G.O.Ms.No.133, dated 01.12.2021 issued by the first respondent and the second respondent's Notification No.1/2024, dated 30.01.2024 has resulted in 100% of the posts in Tamil Nadu Government Service being indirectly reserved for Tamil medium students depriving English medium students from competing for the posts in the Tamil Nadu Government Service.

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to amend the Advertisement No.678, Notification No.1/2024 dated 30.01.2024 by stating in the Clause dealing with the Scheme of Examination that the Part - A of the exam, eligibility test will be held in Tamil and the Scoring Test for which 150 marks out of 300 marks is allotted will be held in both Tamil language paper and English language paper for making direct recruitment to the posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination - IV (Group - IV Services). 2/6

2.W.P.No.5758 of 2024 has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to amend the Advertisement No.678, Notification No.1/2024 dated 30.01.2024 by stating in the Clause dealing with the Scheme of Examination that the Part - A of the exam, eligibility test will be held in Tamil and the Scoring Test for which 150 marks out of 300 marks is allotted will be held in both Tamil language paper and English language paper for making direct recruitment to the posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination - IV (Group - IV Services). 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that similarly situated persons, filed W.P.Nos.13034 and 13038 of 2024 challenging G.O.Ms.No.133, Human Resource Management (M) Department, dated 01.12.2021 and the consequential recruitment Notification No.
1/2024 dated 30.01.2024 issued by TNPSC and a direction was also sought to the TNPSC to amend Clause 4 of the said recruitment Notification dated 30.01.2024/ the very same relief sought for in these writ petitions and the said writ petitions were dismissed by this Court on 30.05.2024 and the common order dated 30.05.2024 in W.P.Nos.
Division Bench of this Court in W.A.Nos.1650 and 1651 of 2024 and the said writ appeals were dismissed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court on 05.07.2024.
4.Since the very same relief sought for in these writ petitions were already considered by this Court in W.P.Nos.13034 and 13038 of 2024 and the said writ petitions were dismissed by this Court on 30.05.2024 and the common order dated 30.05.2024 in W.P.Nos.13034 and 13038 of 2024 was challenged before the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A.Nos.1650 and 1651 of 2024 and the said writ appeals were dismissed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court on 05.07.2024, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for in these writ petitions.
