2. This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant fresh domestic service connection for the petitioner's house No.52/2, Narasimmar Swamy Koil Street, Thiruthani, Thiruvallore based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2019.

3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has placed before this Court the written instructions received from the first respondent that subsequent to filing of the writ petition, the petitioner has been granted

the electricity service connection as sought for in this writ petition.

4. Since the electricity service connection has already been granted in favour of the petitioner, nothing is required for adjudication in this writ petition. After recording the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
