ORDER

In this Criminal Original Petition, on 03.03.2017, this court passed the following order:- "Today, Mr.S.Gangadharan, Inspector of Police, Panruti Police Station is present.

On instructions, Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that pursuant to the directions issued by this court in Crl.O.p.no.4896 of 2015 on 01.06.2015, Mr.Elango, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Panruti, has conducted enquiry on the complain given by the petitioner and the same was also monitored by the Superintendent of Police. been closed on 27.09.2015, on the ground that no offence has been made out.

The police is directed to serve a copy of the Closure Report dated 27.09.2015 on the petitioner/de facto complainant -Sivakumar."

Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted a copy of the closure report dated 27.09.2015. From the reading of which it is seen that in compliance with the directions of this court in Crl.O.P.No.4896 of 2015, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Panruti Sub Division, has conducted enquiry under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore District and the same has been closed on the ground the complaint is untrue. A copy of the closure report has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.

3. In the light of the above, this contempt petition is closed, however, liberty is given to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
