ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 22.03.2023.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner filed an appeal dated 22.03.2023 before the first respondent against the order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.9016/ 2022/P dated 11.02.2023 and still the 1st respondent has not disposed of the appeal. Since the appeal is pending from 22.03.2023 onwards, the present Writ Petition is filed seeking appropriate directions.

3.Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and since the Writ Petition is filed seeking a simple Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, 2/5

this Court without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to issue notice of hearing on the appeal to the petitioner, interested parties/opposite parties/rival claimants/ objectors/aggrieved parties if any, as the case may be and after issuing notice and giving opportunity of hearing to all parties in the manner known to law, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
