Respondent/Landlord PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, to set aside the Judgment and Decree dated 10.03.2017 made in R.C.A.No.6 of 2016 on the file of Sub Court, Udagamandalam in confirming the Judgment and Decree dated 12.04.2016 made in R.C.O.P.No.6 of 2013 on the file of Rent Controller of Coonoor and thereby allow the above Civil Revision Petition.

O R D E R

The unsuccessful tenant before the Court below has preferred this Civil Revision Petition.

After some arguments, the petitioner/tenant has filed an affidavit, seeking six months time from today to vacate and to hand over the vacant possession of the property to the landlord. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the caveator/landlord objected the time sought for by the tenant.

However, in the interest of justice, this Court grants four months time to vacate the premises and hand over possession to the landlord. In so far as the issue of default of payment and arrears of rent due to the landlord is concerned, the same has to be worked out in accordance with law.

With the above observation, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
