This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to disburse the pensionary and other benefits, payable on the death of the petitioner's husband, L.Selvaraj on 28.07.2012, while serving as Chief Engineer, Highways Department, Chennai, based on the nominations dated 27.06.2005 filed by him in favour of the petitioner with 18% interest on such delayed payment.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 & 2 submitted that already the petitioner was settled with all benefits as prayed for.

Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is entitled for any interest for the belated payment in accordance with law, she is at liberty to make representation 2/4
