This Review Petition has been filed under Order 47 Rule 1 read with 114 of Code of Civil Procedure to review the Order of this Court in W.P.No.2914 of 2023 dated 06.02.2023.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner expressed that the amount directed to be paid is very excess and the petitioner could not mobilize the amount in time and hence, seeks to review the Order passed by this Court.
3. This Court directed the petitioner to pay the said amount on the basis of the demand made by the respondents towards arrears of rent and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also submitted that the petitioner is ready to pay the amount in monthly instalments within a period of six months. Hence, this Court directed the petitioner to pay the amount in 3 equated instalments. However, the same has not been paid. Page 3 / 6
4. In such view of the matter, I do not find any error apparent on the face of the Order to review the Order passed by this Court and this Review Application is liable to be dismissed.
5. At this stage, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks further period of six months to pay the remaining the amount.
6. Accordingly, this Review Petition is dismissed. Further period of three months is granted to the petitioner to pay the remaining arrears of rent. 06.10.2023 Index : Yes / No Internet: Yes Speaking/non speaking order vrc To 1.The Commissioner, Nungambakkam High Road, Chennai- 600 034.
