ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 19.2.2014 in W.P.No.4918 of 2014, directed the respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.3.2013 in the light of the earlier orders passed by this Court in W.A.No.1909 of 2010 dated 22.8.2011, and to pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Alleging that the said order has not been complied with, the present contempt

petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Advocate General-V appearing for the respondent submitted that as against the order of this Court dated 19.2.2014 made in W.P.No.4918 of 2014, writ appeal was filed in W.A.No.1044 of 2015 and during the pendency of the said appeal, pursuant to the directions given by this Court, the respondent has passed an order dated 4.7.2016 on the representation of the petitioner. Hence, the said writ appeal was disposed by of the Division Bench of this Court giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the respondent dated 4.7.2016.

3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General-V appearing for the respondent, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition for adjudication and hence, the contempt petition is closed.
