Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents, the Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore & Director General of Police, (L&O), Chennai to dispose of my petition / appeal dated 03.12.2012/11.12.2012 respectively with speaking orders by kindly fixing a time frame.

ORDER

The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to dispose of the petitioner's petition / appeal dated 03.12.2012/11.12.2012 respectively.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to state the status of the appeal before the authorities concerned.

3.On the other hand, the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the appeal dated 03.12.2012 filed by the petitioner was disposed of and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication herein. 4.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
