Seeking for a direction to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, Salem District, to consider the petitioners' bail application on their surrender in Crime No.241 of 2015 pending on the file of the respondent police, the petitioners have come up with this petition.

2.It is seen that the petitioners attempted to cause death of the defacto complainant, when they were prevented from illegally mining sand. Since the offences are grievous in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant the usual order that is passed in such cases. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Sessions Court and his petition shall be considered on merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
