Criminal Appeal filed under Section 374 of Cr.P.C., against the judgment dated 07.01.2016 convicting the petitioner for offences under Section 376 r/w 511 of Indian Penal Code and under Section 8 of Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act and found not guilty for the offences under Section 12 of Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act and Sentenced to undergo 4 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs.5,000/- each with a default sentence of one year simple imprisonment in respect of Section 376 r/w 511 of the Indian Penal Code and the petitioner is also found guilty under Section 8 of Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act and sentenced in the greater punishment under Section 376 r/w 511 of the Indian Penal Code as per Section 42 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act by the learned Court of the Sessions Judge (Fast Tract Mahila Court) Nagapattinam in S.C.No.110 of 2013.
