Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to a letter Na.Ka.No.3316/2022/A2 dated 03.01.2023 issued by the Tahsildar, Valangaiman, addressed to Block Development Officer, Valangaiman, directing to take appropriate steps, to vacate the encroachers from "A/m.Kalyanasundreswarar Thirukovil Thirukulam", situated in Old S.No.134-E, New S.No.439/1, Nallur Village, Valangaiman Taluk, Thiruvarur District and handover to the Nallur Village Panchayat, as requested by the Nallur Panchayat President and quash the same and direct the Tahsildar, Valangaiman to pass appropriate orders considering the revenue records and enquire the petitioner.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.P.Thiagarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mr.P.Harish, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.Habeeb Rahman, learned Government Advocate for respondents 4
and 5.
2. It is submitted that a communication is made by the Tahsildar to the Block Development Officer. In fact, if steps are taken, notice will have to be issued to the petitioner, wherein, the petitioner will have the opportunity to file a reply to the same and then, further action, in accordance with law, would be undertaken.
3. In light of the above, the present petition is premature. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.10331 and 10334 of 2024 are closed.
