By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and take action on the petitioner's application dated 23.02.2016 within the time as fixed by this Court.

3.In the petition it has been stated that the petitioner purchased the vacant land property which is a patta land (Patta No.487) in Survey No.77/2 measuring an extent of 1400 sq.ft. from one Angappan vide sale deed dated 30.09.2013 in document no.4988/2013 registered in the office of the Sub-Registrar at Attur. After purchase, he approached the respondent for transfer of patta in her name along with all necessary documents, but it was not considered. Hence, the petitioner sent a legal notice dated 23.12.2015 and since there was no reply, once again sent representation dated 23.02.2016. Even then, no action has been taken till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition.

4.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader. 5.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to all the necessary parties within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
