This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 16.04.2016, investigate the same and file final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 16.04.2016, it is seen that this petitioner had sold the property for a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs only) and received only a sum of Rs.20,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) and the balance a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) is due https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the petitioner from the opposite party. In case of this nature, no positive direction can been issued to the respondent police to register an FIR.

Hence, the criminal original petition is closed with liberty given to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
