By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner moved the second respondent for cancellation of patta granted in favour of Prithvi Trust Private Ltd., Mylapore, Chennai - 600 004 and it was rejected on 07.09.2014 stating that in the light of the pendency of the civil proceedings before the Fast Track Court, Poonamallee and District Court, Amabttur, no order could be passed. The petitioner, aggrieved against the said order of the second respondent, filed an appeal before the first respondent on 09.04.2015. Since he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4.This Court, without going into the merits of the appeal submitted by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal, after putting notice on the fourth respondent and pass orders as expeditiously possible, not later than 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as to the fourth respondent.
