PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing 1st respondent to issue a No Objection Certificate to the petitioner to run a SPA i.e. cross relaxation massage in the name and style of "VICKYS PHYSIOTHERAPY SPA" at No. 11, Kennedy street, Thanthai Periyar Nagar, Tharamani, Chennai-600 113, by passing orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2023. O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to directing 1st respondent to issue a No Objection Certificate to the petitioner to run a SPA i.e. cross relaxation massage in the name and style of "VICKYS PHYSIOTHERAPY SPA" at No. 11, Kennedy street, Thanthai Periyar Nagar, Tharamani, Chennai-600 113, by passing orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2023.

It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is running a SPA in the name and style of "VICKYS PHYSIOTHERAPY SPA" at No. 11, Kennedy street, Thanthai Periyar Nagar, Tharamani, Chennai-600 113. He would further submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 20.02.2023 to the respondents seeking for the issuance of "No Objection Certificate" to run the said business and the same is not considered by the respondents. Hence the petition.

3. When the matter is taken up, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2023 is available with the respondent and appropriate order would be passed in the manner known to law.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents police.

5. Considering the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2023 with regard to the issuance of "No Objection Certificate" and decide the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law.
