Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to register the sale deed in P.No.175 of 2011, dated 11.11.2011, and presented on 23.11.2011, and return the original document of sale deed after due registration to the petitioner. ORDER

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that a sale deed dated 11.11.2011, was executed in his favour in respect of the property, bearing Old Door No.20B, New Door Nos.85 and 86, comprised in Old T.S.No.8/516 Part and 519 Part and New T.S.No.8/843/2, R.S.Puram, Coimbatore, and in spite of representation, it has not been registered so far and in this regard, he sent a legal notice dated 23.6.2014, to the respondent, and though it was acknowledged by the respondent, he has not been favoured with any response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.K.Ramu, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, who would submit that the reason for non-registration is not made known to the petitioner, in spite of the fact that a legal notice has been served on the respondent, and prays for appropriate orders.

4.Mr.Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for the respondent.

5.This Court, without going into the merits of the contentions put forth by the petitioner, directs the respondent to consider the legal notice dated 23.6.2014, sent by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned, and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
