This matter is posted today before this Court under the caption 'For Being Mentioned' at the instance of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2.Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that this Court, by an order dated 03.03.2025, has passed an order in W.M.P.No.7174 of 2025 in W.P.No.257 of 2022. However in the order copy, the name of one of the officers has been been wrongly mentioned as Mr.Madhavan, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ariyalur instead of Mr.Madhan, (formerly Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ariyalur, presently Deputy Superintendent of Police, CBCID, Trichy) and the same requires to be rectified. Hence, he prayed for suitable directions.

3.Registry is directed to replace the following as paragraph No.6 in the order passed by this Court in W.M.P.No.7174 of 2025 in W.P.No.257 of 2022 dated 03.03.2025 and issue order copy afresh: "6.Considering the difficulty expressed by the petitioner 1/3

in the said officer monitoring the investigation that is conducted at Trichy, this Court is of the view that instead of Mr.Jayakumar, the DIG of Trichy Range and Superintendent of Police of Thanjavur can replace Thiru.Jayakumar in the Special Investigation Team. The above two officers shall conduct the investigation along with two other officers appointed by this Court viz., Mr.Madhan, (formerly Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ariyalur, presently Deputy Superintendent of Police, CBCID, Trichy) and Mr.R.Ravi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, SCB, CBI, Chennai and shall file the final report as expeditiously as possible." 12.03.2025 sai 2/3
