This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that this petitioner was involved in the murder of one Stella and in the trial, she was acquitted. She feared that Stella's brother, Karthik may retaliate and therefore she did not enter the village.

4. Now, it is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that Karthik was arrested in another case and this petitioner need not fear any retaliation. The Learned Additional https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Public Prosecutor also submitted that there is no harassment from the Police.

5. If the petitioner is involved in any other offence, it is always open to the respondent Police to proceed against her in accordance with law. No blanket orders of not to harass can be passed.

6. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
