O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the learned District Munsif-Cum-Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur to dispose of O.S.No.1335 of 2008 within a stipulated time period.

2. The first defendant is the petitioner before this Court. The suit is for permanent injunction. From the records it is seen that the suit was filed on 28.03.2005 and it is pending for final disposal. Even though, the matter was posted for arguments as early as on 02.01.2017, it appears that another interlocutory application was filed on 02.01.2017 and it is pending in the stage of enquiry from then on. When the suit is for permanent injunction, the time consumed for trial for the past 14 years appears to be very abnormal. The Interlocutory Application itself is pending for the past two years. Considering the long pendency and undue delay in disposal of Interlocutory Application, direction is given to the Distirct Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbadur to dispose of IA.No.24 of 2017 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the suit within a period of six months from the date of disposal of the Interlocutary Application.
